Today is our Friday

Margaret's mom & stepfather are in town to paint the nursery. We really appreciate their help because they're pretty much doing it all. :) It's been a fun day and it was topped off by going out on my parents boat. The temperature remained at a cool 76 degrees....it was great!

Can you say 'roadtrip'?

I knew it before yesterday but my wife is the coolest women on the face of the planet. I'm a huge Phish fan and yesterday I received a very sad announcement. So Margaret decided to surprise me by giving me the 'go ahead' to buy two tickets (for me and my friend Jason) to go see Phish at their final show. This isn't just any show...this is a 2-day festival in their home state of Vermont. It's sad knowing that after this show, Phish will be no more. But it's going to be a SWEET sendoff to say the least.

Glutton for Punishment

Started my first night back to school. I'm very stressed as I write up this post for several reasons:

1) Newly married (1yr anniv. 6/14)
2) 1st child due in 2mos
3) New job that is taking some time for me to get acclimated
4) 2 summer classes; M - Th; 7pm - 10:00pm

To point #4...let me also add that one of these classes is a mathematics course (not even close to my strong suite) with an Army drill sergeant as a professor (no lie). I'm going to bed.

p.s. - Don't get me wrong...I'm happy all of this is going on. It's just hard to swallow when it's all at once.

Family...ain't it grand?

Today the entire family gathered over my grandparents house today in Dandy (near Seaford) for graduation and birthday celebrations and we had a blast. My parents recently bought a 24ft pontoon boat that seats 20 ppl!! Today was only the 3rd time it's been taken out and we reached 12 passengers. We loaded up and took the boat out on the York river. Water temp was at a relaxing 81 degrees...I know this because we all got in at one point (even swam underneath the boat). It was one of those days where you wish you were enjoying a night of your vacation...but oh so soon you realize that, in fact, it's Sunday. Anyhow, tomorrow is going to be a long day for me...work then first day of summer school (going back to finish my degree). Wish me luck!
